Obituary of Floyd Hardick, III

Mr. Floyd Hardick, III of Montague, NJ died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Bon Secours Community Hospital.  He was 70.

He was born August 21, 1947 in Sussex, NJ the son of the late Floyd Hardick, Jr. and the late Josephine M. Ashley Hardick.

Floyd proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam and was a member of the American Legion Post #157, Branchville, NJ.  Floyd was also a member of the Down Back Hunting Club, Branchville, NJ.

He worked as a self employed Mason in his company called Country Masons in Lake Ariel, PA.

A family statement read:  “The Ole Boy” served his country, loved his family, friends and the great outdoors.  Semper Fi.

Also several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Raymond Hamming

Visitation at Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc. 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Nancy Vonderhorst officiating.

Burial with military honors will be at Beemerville Cemetery, Sussex, NJ.
