Obituary of Anna Jenks
Mrs. Anna Margaret Jenks of Port Jervis, NY and a lifetime resident of the area died Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Milford Senior Care & Rehabilitation Center, Milford, PA surrounded by her loving family. She was 77.
She was born July 22, 1940 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of the late Edmund Spencer and the late Loretta Fahey Spencer.
Anna was married to Charles “Bud” Jenks, Sr. for 54 years prior to his passing on September 27, 2013.
She worked as the Director of Patient Registration and Telecommunications for Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis.
She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church Port Jervis.
A Family Statement Read: “Mom was a dedicated Mother. A loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt and daughter. Picnics, family gatherings and spending time with her loved ones were the times she cherished the most. Her happiest times were those watching her children and grandchildren at all their endeavors or just simply spending quiet times at home with the love of her life, her husband Bud. Mom will be greatly missed by all and will be waiting to greet us with loving arms outstretched in the house of our Lord.”

10 Great-Grandchildren: Curtis, Tyler, Isabella, Abbey, Taylor, Madison, Landon, Morgan, Charlie and Reagan

She was predeceased by her son, Brian Lee Jenks, Sr. on January 29, 2000.
Predeceased by her brothers: Raymond Kahmar and Edmund Spencer
Predeceased by her step-father: Raymond Kahmar, Sr.
Friends may call at Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main Street, Port Jervis on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 10th 2017 with a 9:15am prayer at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 46 Ball Street, Port Jervis, NY
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY.
