Obituary of Howard Decker
Mr. Howard Decker of Virginia Beach, VA and formerly of Port Jervis died February 1, 2018 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Chesapeake, VA. He was 92.
He was born June 16, 1925 in Greenville Township, NY the son of the late Willard Frank Decker and the late Wilhelmina "Minnie" Mason Decker.
He was the widower of the late Mary Oppelt Decker who died August 29, 1989. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Harold (twin), Carl and Raymond Decker
Howard was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Operating Engineers, Local #825 and worked for the NYS Highway Dept. based in the Town of Greenville. He was a Charter Member of the Greenville Fire Department.

Son: Willard F. Decker of Port Jervis, NY
Son: Kenneth G. Decker of Port Jervis, NY
Son: Steven J. Decker of Port Jervis, NY
6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
A private burial with immediate family will be at Manning Cemetery, Greenville, NY.
