Obituary of Arthur Stempert
Mr. Arthur Allen Stempert of New Milford, CT died unexpectedly from heart failure on Friday, November 24, 2017 at New Milford Hospital, New Milford, CT. He was 57.
He was born March 21, 1960 in Port Jervis, NY the son of the late Arthur Frank Stempert, Jr. and the late Claudia Ann Jones Stempert.
Arthur married the love of his life of 21 years Christopher James Austin Joseph on October 10, 2015 in New Milford, CT.
He was employed for 30 plus years at Danbury Hospital as an integral part of the Catering Department. He most recently was employed by the Compass Group at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT.
He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop #700 Port Jervis where he earned his title of Eagle Scout. Arthur was a 1979 graduate of Port Jervis High School and went on to study Culinary Arts at SUNY Sullivan.
A family statement read: Arthur loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed entertaining and was a superb cook and outstanding baker. He celebrated and decorated his home with magnificent perfection for every holiday season. He was a talented interior decorator and a fashionista who was always dressed perfectly for every occasion. Arthur was a meticulously organized person who was known as the "Greeting Card King."

He was predeceased by his parents and his second father, Donald R. Parker
Funeral services were held privately.
