Mr. Bohdan A. Kandiuk of Glen Spey, NY died Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. Joseph's Place, Port Jervis.
He was 94.
He was born March 7, 1924 in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine the son of the late Stefan Kandiuk and the late Natalia Melnyk Kandiuk.
Bohdan married Helen Krawczuk 71 years ago on September 8, 1946 in Rimini, Italy
He worked as a Clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in New York City, NY.
Bohdan was a member of St. Volodymyr's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Glen Spey, NY
A family statement read: Bohdan was a very frequent contributor of Letters to the Editor in the Times Herald Record. He was also an active community member in the Town of Lumberland who would help out during the elections as a Poll Clerk.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm with a Panachyda Service at 5:00 pm at Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771
Liturgy mass will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM from St. Volodymyr's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 447 High Road - Co. Rte. 41, Glen Spey.
Burial will be at Glen Spey Cemetery, Glen Spey, NY.
