Mr. Audley Eugene “Gene” Ellis Jr.
Port Jervis, NY
Mr. Audley Eugene “Gene” Ellis Jr. of Port Jervis, NY, died Friday, August 17, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 68.
He was born September 15, 1949 in Newton, NJ the son of the late Audley Eugene Ellis, Sr. and the late Blanche Ella Travis.
Gene proudly served our country in the United States Army.
A family statement read: “He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gene would always be there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a member of the Friday night Bowling League at Minisink Lanes. He enjoyed camping with his children in his earlier years and the number fill in books. He will be greatly missed.”

He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Robert “Eli” Ellis.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc. 100 East Main Street Port Jervis on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11am at the funeral home.
Cremation will be held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Gene to the Humane Society of Port Jervis/Deerpark, 202 Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771.
