Mrs. Johanna “Terry” Theresa Banks
Mrs. Johanna “Terry” Theresa Banks of Montague, NJ passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 86.
She was born April 7, 1932 in Madison, NJ the daughter of the late John Evanko and the late Maria Teresa Ulrich Evanko.
Terry has owned the Brandyhaven Horse Farm, Montague, NJ for 32 years. She operated T.J.’s Hot House in Cahoonzie for 10 years. She was also a member of the Appaloosa Horse Club, the American Quarter Horse Association, Secretary of the North Jersey Mustang Club for 9 years, Secretary of the Antique Truck Club of America (New Jersey branch) for 11 years, and President of the Cycle Sisters All Women’s Motorcycle Club in the seventies.
She married John Banks on August 10, 2011 in Montague, NJ.
A Family Statement Read: Terry loved country western music and sang with a group in her younger days. Flowers, especially Iris, music, horses, and painting were her passions.

Terry was predeceased by her husband, John P. Hopping, in 2013 and her grandson, John Wesley Hopping.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Cremation was held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.
