Sandra L. Schoonmaker of Cuddebackville, NY, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at Bon Secours Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  She was 59.

She was born August 5, 1959 in E. Stroudsburg, PA the daughter of the late Norman Van Horn and Vaneto Henry Van Horn.

Sandy had a larger than life personality and has touched so many lives.  She was known as the Queen of Oakland Valley Campground.  A longtime member of the Moose Lodge and her and her husband, Walt, were lifelong motorcycle enthusiasts with the Griffin Association.  Sandy was “Mom”, “Grandma”, and “Sister” to everyone.

She was predeceased by her sister, Sheila Jane Klein; and her brothers, Earl and Wayne Van Horn.

 

There will be no visitation.

 

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at the Oakland Valley Campground on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2pm.

 

Cremation will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.
