Mr. Robert M. Sauschuck

Matamoras, PA

Mr. Robert M. Sauschuck of Matamoras, PA, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center.  He was 83.

He was born August 28, 1935 in Port Jervis, NY and was raised by the late Harry and Ann Sauschuck.

Robert was married to his beloved wife, Virginia Joy Sauschuck for 43 years until her passing on July 11, 2010.

He worked as a Car Inspector on the railroad for Erie and Conrail, starting in the Port Jervis yard and moved to Hoboken, NJ.

A family statement read: “Robert will always be remembered for his appreciation of the tri-state area that he grew up in.   He loved spending time in Millrift with his friends listening to the train roaring over the bridge. He also enjoyed taking drives around Cummins Hill. More than anything, he loved his wife, Ginny.  The family takes comfort that Bob and Ginny are together again.  We know that he loved us kids and grandkids as much as we all loved him.

A special thank you to DaVita Dialysis in Milford, PA and Orange Regional Medical Center for their wonderful care and support in his final days.”
