Obituary of George Howard Husson

Mr. George Howard Husson of Sparrowbush, died Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, NY.  He was 58.

He was born May 4, 1960 in Port Jervis, NY the son of the late Howard  Husson and Jane A. Gamo Husson.

George married his husband of 34 years Michael L. Bamrick on October 27, 2007 in Oakland, CA.

He worked as a Program Technician for USDA Farm Services, Middletown, NY.

George was an extremely talented musician and was the Pianist at the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church.  He was also the organist and choirmaster at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Milford, PA.  George was the former Director of Music Ministries a St. Theresa Church and School, Oakland, CA. 

George was a member of the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church, Sparrowbush, the AGO, American Guild of Organists and the National Pastoral Musicians Association.

A family statement read:  “A wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin and good friend who will be dearly missed.  George was a talented musician who could make your day brighter through his music or simply through his presence and tender character.”

Brother, Michael Husson and his wife Mary of Sparrowbush, NY

Sister-in-law, Tami Mislin and her husband Richard of Tonawanda, NY

Also several nieces and nephews

He is also survived by his beloved Dogs Pebbles and Rocco and his cat Romeo.

He was predeceased by his Brother-in-law, John Little, Jr. and his Mother-in-law & Father-in-law: Patricia & Lewis Bamrick.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church, 39 Main Street, Sparrowbush, NY  12780
