Obituary of Joseph T. DePace

Mr. Joseph T. De Pace of Huguenot, NY and a long time resident of the area died Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Montrose V.A. Hospital, Montrose, NY.  He was 99.

He was born September 23, 1920 in Monticello, NY the son of the late Thomas De Pace and the late Caroline    De Filippo De Pace.

Joe was the widower of the late Charlotte McDowell DePace.

He worked his entire life as a Barber in several locations and retired as a Barber from the Mid Hudson Psychiatric Center in New Hampton.

Joe proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II earning many decorations including 2 Purple Hearts.  He was a member of the Roosa - Fleming V. F. W. Post No. 161, Port Jervis.  A past member of the Cuddebackville Fire Dept. and Fire Police. He was a past member of the Moose Lodge.

Granddaughter: Melissa Cooper and her husband Arthur Cooper, Jr.

Granddaughter: Luann Olsen

There will be no visitation.

A private graveside funeral service with military honors will be at the Westbrookville Cemetery, Westbrookville, NY.
