Obituary of Michael J. D'Alto
Mr. Michael Joseph D'Alto of Westfall Township, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Alliance Senior Living Facility in Westfall Township, PA. He was 89.
He was born January 8, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Cono George D’Alto and the late Adeline Pandolfo D'Alto.
Michael, a longtime resident of Westfall Township, proudly served his country in the United States Army, 2nd Infantry Division during the Korean War and was deployed to the Kumhwa Valley area from 1952-1953.
He married Christine Sanseverino on July 11, 1959 in Brooklyn, NY and they were married for 61 years prior to her death on July 24, 2020.
Michael was retired from the New York City Transit Authority where he was employed as a Train Conductor. He was also a very talented entertainer who appeared on television twice in 1962 on the Original Ted Mack Show which aired over the CBS Network. Over the years he performed as a singer in many venues in New York City, the Mid-Hudson and and Catskill Regions.
Michael was a member of the Saint Cono American Society.

7 Grandchildren: Jason Johnson & wife Ellamarie; Serena Finn & husband William; Stephanie Johnson; Chrissy Marie Tirado and husband Steven; Michael D'Alto and life partner Krista Eichenberger; Caroline Mellone & husband Antonio; Cono Michael D'Alto, Jr. and life companion Michelle Wilson.
7 Great Grandchildren: William, Owen, Lucas, Cailey, Michael, Christian and Brooklyn.

He ws predeceased brother in law: Anthony Ribaudo
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions the family wishes that there will be no visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10:00am in St. Mary's R.C. Church, 46 Ball St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 with Rev. Matthew Newcomb officiating.
Burial with Military Honors will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY.
