We are so sad to hear of Bruce's passing. When I first met Chicky and Bruce when I was engaged to Tony, we were in a bowling alley and Chicky was bowling while in labor! We shared many good times in Montague along with the Frasche family. Bruce was strong. He was courageous and a strong rock to his family. Although I am sure his body caused him pain, he never, ever complained. Chicky, know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Tony and Dottie Peseller

Chick, Mark, & Jason- I am devastated to hear of Bruce's passing. I always enjoyed the company of the McDermott family especially Bruce's good natured ribbing. He always reminded me how much he hated heavy metal was and how great Johnny Mathis was. God Bless Bruce for his service to our country and his community. And God Bless you and your family. I remember when we were raising pigs on the farm and they got loose. Uncle Bruce herded them back down to the pen. It was so funny to watch him try to get them down the hill to the pen. So many more memories over the years when I think about Uncle Bruce. I'm glad he was a part of my childhood and adult life. You're definitely going to be missed. Rest in peace Uncle Bruce.

For over Fifty years we Hunted, Snowmobiled, Raised Pigs, Farmed and had some great Pig Roasts. We camped with our trailers all over and enjoyed seeing the children grow up. You’ll be sadly missed and Thank you for your Military service time for your Country. You’ll be remembered in my Prayers each week. Rest In Peace til we meet again. Give Nicky a big hug for us.

I had the privilege of working with Bruce at High Point . I knew him first as a dedicated family man. who loved his wife Rose, his children and grandchildren. He was a hard worker and fun loving. We had many offhand discussions about spiritual matters and other controversial topics, and had many a laugh together. My daughter, who worked as a seasonal, has good memories of Bruce as well. He was a true patriot who loved and served his country. He never talked much about his war service as a Marine in Viet Nam.He did share his adventures working as a Paterson Special Police Officer.We saw each other at the Doctors office and Wal Mart, since retirement. . Wishing Rose and the Family Gods blessings for peace. So long, Brucie, God rest you! You will be missed. Another of the old Park Service crowd who got promoted to the green glades above! Semper Fi' ! How do sum up all the memories going back 35 years, especially when our children growing up together...Little League, bowling leagues, shooting fireworks in your back yard, pig roasts,, and so much more. You were loved by your family, friends and your community. We mourn the passing of a wonderful husband, father and friend. Hope you find a great hot dog stand in Heaven, Bruce. Rest In Peace.
