Mr. Charles Henry Brandt, Jr a longtime resident of Cuddebackville, NY, Daytona Beach, FL and Bonita Springs, FL, died Sunday, July 11, 2021, at his home in Cuddebackville, NY. He was 81.
Chuck was born November 17, 1939, in Queens, NY the son of the late Charles H. Brandt, Sr. and the late Elizabeth R. Brandt. He was married to his beloved wife, Patricia (Finn) Brandt, on July 15, 1961 in Niagara Falls, NY.
Chuck enjoyed a long life filled with family and friends. He especially loved hosting and attending family events, traveling, especially cruises and Woodloch Pines, playing golf with the ‘CRS’ Bonita Springs mens’ golf club guys, the NY Giants, Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings and Niagara University Purple Eagles.
Chuck served in the United States Army in Germany from 1961 to 1963 and had a long career in Finance with IBM. He retired in 1997.
Chuck was predeceased by his son, Robert Charles Brandt and his brother-in-law, James Laughlin.
Surviving Chuck, in addition to his wife Pat are his son Thomas Brandt and his wife Suran, son Michael Brandt and his wife Patricia, brother John Brandt and his wife Elizabeth, sister Elizabeth Miller, grandchildren: Spencer, Harrison and Katie, sister-in-law: Kathleen Laughlin and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins
Friends may call at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc. 100 East Main Street Port Jervis on Saturday, July 17, 2021from 8:00am - 9:00am.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 with a 9:15am prayer at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 46 Ball St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 with Rev. Ivan Csete officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Forestburgh, NY.
