Carol J. Forbes of Port Jervis, NY a lifetime resident of the area, died Thursday, September 16, 2021.  She was 75.

She was born August 26, 1946 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of the late John George and the late Grace Emily Martin Forbes.

Carol retired from High Point State Park after 20 years where she was a devoted employee.  She was a past member of the Tri States Naval Ship Ladies Auxiliary in Port Jervis, NY where she loved to advocate for veterans.

A family statement read: “She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.  She enjoyed crocheting, was an animal lover and was an avid New York Yankees fan.  She will be greatly missed.”

 

Surviving are:

4 Sons:            Ryan Jones and his wife Brooke

                        Nicholas Jones                      

                        Joshua Jones and his wife Heather  

                        Jason Jones and his wife Laura        

2 Brothers:      Jack Forbes and his wife Nancy       

                        Jim Forbes and his wife Sandy

Sister-in-law: Mary Ann Forbes

2 Grandchildren: Maddox and Justin

Also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother William Forbes

                       

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc. 100 East Main Street Port Jervis on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 11:00am - 2:00pm.

 

Cremation will be held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.
