Mrs. Constance “Connie” Quinn
Mrs. Constance “Connie” Quinn of Montague, NJ died Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Twin Cedar Senior Living. She was 87.
She was born December 2, 1933 in Pittson, PA the daughter of the late Michael Bellanca and the late Eva Belinsky Bellanca.
Connie was happily married to Thomas Quinn for 60 wonderful years before his passing on January 1, 2019.
She was a member of the St. James R.C Church in Montague, NJ for many years.
Connie was a nurse at the Jersey City Medical Center, after she retired from nursing she went on to work for her husband Thomas in his Certified Public Accountant business in Montague, NJ
A family statement read:
“Mom was known for her sweet and gracious disposition. She loved nature and gardening. She was a farm girl at heart and we enjoyed the bounty from her garden year-round. She especially loved feeding the birds and deer in the winter. She was an avid reader and a cross word puzzle wiz. We will miss her dearly.”
Son: Thomas Quinn and his wife Rebecca of Campbell, CA
Sister: Sally Ruane Mesa, AZ
Sister-In-Law: Amelia Quinn Montague, NJ
and Granddaughter: Marcella Schilling of Clovis, CA
also several nieces, newphews, and grandnephews.
Connie is predeceased by her brothers-in-law: William, Jack, and Robert Quinn, and her sister-in-law, Regina Quinn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc. 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 10:30 am in the St. James R.C Church in Montague, NJ with Rev. Wayne Varga officiating.
Burial will be held at the Minisink Reform Church Cemetery, Montague, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Connie’s name may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial & Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, T.N. 38105-1942.
