Obituary of Stephen B. Surak

Mr. Stephen B. Surak of Port Jervis and formerly of Paterson, NJ, died Wednesday, August 4th at Milford Senior Care & Rehabilitation Center. He was 64. He was born August 28, 1939 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Roman J. and the late Eleanor St. Almond Surak. He was a member of St. Marys R.C. Church, Union Ave., Paterson, NJ and the U.S. Army Reserves. Stephen worked as a Boiler Engineer for Passaic County. A family statement read: "Stephen was a loving brother & uncle who will be missed and loved by his entire family." Surviving are: Brother: Anthony Surak Port Jervis, NY Brother: Michael Surak Prospect Park, NJ Brother: Joseph Surak Tampa Bay, FL Brother: Edward Surak Las Vegas, NV Sister: Catherine Spagnola Paterson, NJ Sister: Mary Berthold Paterson, NJ Sister: Bernice Surak Totowa, NJ Sister: Ellen Burke Newton, NJ Also several Nieces And Nephews Predeceased Sister: Ramona Lane who died in 2004. Friends may call at the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis on Friday, August 6th from 2- 4pm & 7-9pm Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 7th with a 9:15 am Prayer at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's R.C. Church, 46 Ball St., Port Jervis. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's R.C.
